Collective worship takes place daily in class or as a whole school.
The Head teacher leads whole school Collective Worship every Monday morning at 9.35am. This starts the week off being close to God and encourages us all, children and adults, to keep company with God during the week and to follow in Jesus' footsteps.
What would Jesus do? A question we often ask at St Teresa's to support us all in making good choices so that we can live our lives being the best people we can be.
Wednesday Word is celebrated together each Wednesday afternoon. Children from Reception to year Two attend - teachers lead this by taking turns each week using the weekly publication that is then sent home with the children.
Collective worship takes place in classes on the remaining days. The children are encouraged to take an active part in the worship by choosing the focus and assembling an appropriate display. This encompasses prayers and time for refection.
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from collective worship or Religious Education in which case the parent would be responsible for their child during this time.
