Webster the Dog

Webster is the world’'s worst dog. He is a lively bouncy dog.
Lucy got Webster from the rescue centre.
One terrible day Webster zoomed in the garden like a jet plane.
Webster was a bad dog. He knocked Gran’'s flowers over. “"Oh no”"
shouted Gran. The plant pots smashed and the flowers where broken. After that he jumped in the fishpond, he jumped in so hard that some fish jumped out. “"STOP"” thundered dad, who also got wet through.
Next thing he did was he rushed upstairs and chewed all mum’'s bedding “"SIT WEBSTER"” screamed mum. But Webster ignored mum, and scooted downstairs, knocking over the umbrellas stand in the hall, scattering all the umbrellas all over the place. He dashed outside again, and just as the neighbour’'s cat was about to catch a little red robin, Webster pounced towards the cat, and the robin escaped. Everyone was absolutely delighted, and said “"What a good dog"”. From that day Webster seemed to calm down, and become a very good dog.

The lighthouse keepers holiday

Once upon a time there was a chubby lighthouse keeper called Mr.Grinling he lived in a small white cottage perched on the cliffs. One day Mr and Mrs Grinling where discussing about going on holiday “I think we should go on holiday”. “But where to” replied Mrs Grinling “how about Paris” said Mr Grinling “ok we’ll go tomorrow morning”, and they did. They gave the keys, to Sam and asked him to look after Hamish the cat. Mrs Grinling prepared a delicious lunch for on the way. They went to ‘www. rent a car.com’ to hire a car to get there, when they did they went to a posh hotel they had roast beef and potatoes for dinner. After that the manager showed them to their room it was huge! It had a huge bed, a massive wardrobe and a little table on each side of the bed. They unpacked their bags and set up everything. “That was quite some dinner”, said Mr Grinling it was, “its even better than mine”, exclaimed Mrs Grinling! When Mr and Mrs Grinling were in bed Mr Grinling got a bit hungry, he went down stairs for a midnight snack, he put on the television suddenly on the news he heard the lighthouse wasn’t working Mr Grinling rushed up stairs “Mrs G Mrs G,” wailed Mr.Grinling, “wake up, wake up, the lighthouse isn’t working”, “Oh my gosh” screamed Mrs.Grinling, “we must get there right away”. So off they dashed. Sam was trying his best to get the lighthouse working but it was no use the lighthouse just would not work. Eventually Mr and Mrs.Grinling arrived, and they called out to Sam, “what’s wrong with the lighthouse, why isn’t it working”. They searched the lighthouse, and suddenly heared a growling noise in one of the storerooms. When they went into the room they found Hamish sitting on a window ledge, and below was a dog that had chased the cat into the room. He was chewing away at some electric wires, and had bitten through one set that were used to make the light work. “Ah”, roared Mr.Grinling, “here’s the culprit, you naughty dog” and he went for the dog. The dog was too quick for Mr.Grinling and darted through his legs and out of the lighthouse. Mr Grinling and Sam set about repairing the wiring, and soon had the light working again. “Thank goodness for that”, they all said.
