Shop
The School currently sells caps at £1.50 and blue bags at £3.75

Transfer to the Junior School
St Teresa's is an Infant school and children transfer at the age of seven to Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School. Transfer is automatic and guaranteed. Their Key Stage 2 teachers visit the school to ensure a smooth transition. If you do not wish your child to transfer to Our Lady's of Lourdes you are perfectly at liberty to visit other schools and make your own arrangements. St Teresa's will liaise with all Key Stage 2 schools as required.

School Dinners
School dinners cost £1.55 per day and parents who require dinners provided are requested to send in dinner money on a Monday in a named envelope. If parents prefer, sandwiches may be brought from home, in which case please provide a drink and a spoon if your child has a yogurt. Could I respectfully mention to parents that the school has achieved a Healthy School's Award and ask you to remember this when preparing the lunch boxes.

The Curriculum Partnership (working together)
School and parents work very closely in guiding the children along the curriculum path. In September of each year class teachers meet with parents as a group to inform them of the curriculum objectives for that year. Throughout the year topic webs, religious education information sheets and written guidance for parents are provided. There are three traditional style parents evenings during the course of the school year.
Home story books and reading diaries are a further means of communication between home and school.
All parents are asked to complete a Home/School Agreement.

What Should you do if your child has a problem?
If your child has a problem, no matter how small please contact the school. Both Head Teacher and Teaching staff are there in the morning to welcome the children into school; this is often a good time to mention minor matters. If there is anything which requires more quality time please arrange an appointment by telephoning the school on 01704 567528.

Clubs and Extra Curricular Activities
Throughout the year the school organises a variety of extra visitors to the school; puppet show, pantomime, theatre. There are also Science and Maths shows. In addition to these regular visitors, other experts will visit from time to time.
During the two first two terms after school activites are organized for the Infant children from 3.15 to 4.00pm. The clubs run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening and cover ICT, Maths, PE and Short Tennis

Visits
Visits are organized as part of the class topics. Traditionally, Year 2 study schools and in the Autumn term visit Wigan Pier. In the Summer term all Infant classes will have a visit, generally to one of the following Croxteth Hall, Maritime or Liverpool Museum or Knowsley Safari Park.

Holy Communion Programme
The children whose parents wish, make their First Holy Communion in Year 2, generally in June. The programme starts in January and is parish based, with catechists coming into school on five Friday evenings from 3.15 – 5.00pm to work with the children. The Head Teacher supervises this element of the programme. At the same time Fr John, the Parish Priest, works with the parents  explaining elements of the programme. There are celebration Masses held at the 9.00am parish Mass on five Sundays.

Friends Association
Friends of St Teresa's Association (FOSTA) organises events during the year both for fund-raising and social reasons.
