Home Learning

To all our Parents/Carers, Children and Families,

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our Parents/Carers and Families for the continued support, kind words and open minds during this unprecedented and uncertain time. We are doing our best to provide the care and education needed for all our children based on the current government guidelines. We are currently waiting for a list of 'key workers' to be published by the DfE (department for Education) which we will hopefully receive today and we will update you with these plans as soon as we know.

We will continue to post daily activities online for children to access and to have contact with their teachers and peers for as long as it takes. However, please don't feel the need to complete these everyday. They are there to guide and support learning whenever you want to dip into it. We know that these are uncertain times and that the current situations put added stress on families, if we can help in anyway please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do what we can in line with current government guidelines.

Please know that we will miss those attending school terribly and that we are keen for them to still feel part of our school community. Our school is proud of the mental health and mindfulness work that we do with your children and the current situation can be unsettling for them. With this in mind I have added a Mental Health and Mindfulness tab to our home school learning section which contains links to our Yoga, Mindfulness, Guided Meditations and will be updated regularly.

Please try to enjoy the extra time you get with your children as much as you can, they are not little for long.

All our best wishes

Our Epic Water Battle

The children have been making the most of the sunny weather by spending lots of time outside. We had an epic water fight today and Ethan helped us to turn it into a blockbuster.

Our stations of the cross

We have created a walk for the stations of the cross outside our beautiful school. If you live locally please take in our walk during your daily exercise in line with the current government guidelines. If your walk can’t stretch all the way to school then enjoy our virtual walk below.

Here's 100+ ideas of things to do while you're away from school. We'd love to see some photographs of you completing some of these activities. Don't forget to post your pictures on your class dojo class story.

You know how much we love our lego at St Teresa's. Why not try this 30 day Lego challenge! Don't forget to up load your photographs onto your classdojo class story.
